Terms of Service

By engaging Coolbest Aircon Servicing ("Coolbest Aircon", "we", "us") for aircon servicing, repair, chemical wash, gas top-up, or installation, you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms.

1. Quotation & Pricing

Per-unit servicing prices published on our website are final amounts payable to Coolbest Aircon. Quotations for chemical wash, repair, gas top-up, and installation are provided on-site after diagnosis. No work beyond standard servicing will commence without your verbal or written approval of the quoted price.

2. Booking & Cancellation

Bookings are confirmed via WhatsApp, phone, email, or the website form. Same-day cancellations made within 2 hours of the slot may incur a S$30 trip fee if the technician has already departed for your address. Reschedules made earlier are at no charge.

3. Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 90-day workmanship warranty on labour for the specific work performed. If the same fault recurs within 90 days, we will return at no charge to rectify it. The warranty does not cover:

  • Faults arising from a different unit or different component
  • Damage caused by unauthorised tampering after our service
  • Damage caused by power surges, water ingress, or external events
  • Wear-and-tear consumables (filters, drain hoses) consumed in normal use

4. Parts Warranty

Replacement parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will pass on any manufacturer warranty documentation provided.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the aircon units
  • Disclose any known faults or recent repair attempts
  • Settle the agreed payment promptly upon job completion
  • Inform Coolbest of any condo or strata access requirements before the slot

6. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job via cash, PayNow, or bank transfer. For installations and large overhauls, a 30% deposit is required to confirm parts ordering, with the balance due on sign-off. Late payment may incur a 5% monthly surcharge after 14 days from the invoice date.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific job in question. We are not liable for consequential losses (loss of business, food spoilage, etc.) arising from delayed cooling restoration.

8. HDB & Condo Compliance

For installation work, the Customer is responsible for obtaining any required HDB town council notifications or condo management permissions in advance. Coolbest will provide BCA-compliant brackets and follow standard HDB external installation rules.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
